How to place an Order
Thank you for your interest in booking your event with Design Me A Cupcake!
Below is the booking process that will ensure your date is secure:
1.) Quote and Retainer:
After your initial email inquiry, if the date is available, my reply will include a quote.
As some dates are more popular than others - they are booked on a first come first serve basis.
It is highly recommended to book your date once your quote is received.
Due to the nature of the business and the large volume of daily inquiries received, I do not follow up to confirm if you would like to book your date.
Quotes are valid and dates are confirmed available for a period of 24 hours after my initial reply after which time there are no guarantees the date is available and the quote may require a revisit.

When sending your e-transfer, please remember to include your name and event date in the message area of the e transfer to ensure the deposit is applied to the correct customer/order.
Password for e transfer is not required.
Your retainer secures your date and books your order total.
Date can be re-booked, if my schedule permits.
I will confirm receipt of your e transfer when received and follow up within 24 hours to complete the order process.
The balance on your order can be paid via e-transfer one day prior to pickup or cash at the door.
Currently I do not accept credit card, debit or cheques.
Orders will not be released until payment is received in full.
Please advise if you require a receipt.
2.) Order Details:
Once the deposit is sent, and if you have not already done so in your initial email, please confirm the following information in a follow up email.

5. Scripting for the cake banner:
6. Special Requests/Instructions: (Include a picture of your design if not already done so.)
This email will be used to complete your order form.
I will follow up within 24 hours after receipt to confirm all details and ensure the order is doable with no potential issues.
3.) Determining Your Pickup Time:
Cakes and cupcakes are prepared, filled and frosted with Italian Meringue buttercream, which contains butter and pasteurized egg whites and are kept refrigerated until pick up, but are required to be served at room temperature.
This may take up to 3 hours after pick up depending on the size of your cake.
Cupcakes will take approximately an hour out of the box for this to occur.
Please factor in this additional time to allow this process to happen when determining your pickup time.
